8. The product specification in the High Quality Food (KMÉ) national quality scheme for liquid egg, previously notified under number 2022/384/HU, has been amended. Under the heading “Optional elements” in the Specific Certification Requirements, more precisely under sub-heading “II. Sustainability”, new points have been formulated for sustainability, significantly expanding the range of optional elements. In addition, the criteria for non-organic crop production have been specified in more detail in the technology-related requirements.

9. The addition of further product specifications to the “High Quality Food” (KMÉ) quality scheme is intended to make it possible to indicate the higher quality for the widest possible range of food products in order to properly serve customer needs and to enable producers to join the quality scheme with a variety of products.
