The Technical Conditions of the distribution system operator Stredoslovenská distribučná, a. s. stipulate the method used to access and connect to the distribution system, technical conditions for operation and measurement in the distribution system, provision of universal service, technical conditions for interruption of the distribution of electricity, disconnection from the distribution system, technical conditions for establishing control rules and requirements for the collection and transmission of information for central control and for the establishment of criteria for technical safety and development of the distribution system.

9. The draft technical regulation was drawn up in accordance with § 19 of Act No 251/2012 on energy and on amendments to certain acts, as amended, and within the scope set out in Decree No 271/2012 of the Ministry of Economy laying down the details of the scope of technical specifications for accessing and connecting to the system and network and rules for system and network operation.
A mutual recognition clause need not be included in the regulation.
The change in the Technical Conditions is mainly reflecting Act No 256/2022 amending Act No 251/2012 on energy and amending certain acts, as amended, and amending certain acts.
The amendment to the Technical Conditions included also structural alterations to this document, when former Chapter 1.2 on technical requirements for the connection of power generation equipment was moved to a special Annex 1, and former chapter 10. "The principles and conditions of installation and operation of electricity was moved to a special Annex 2.
