8. The ‘Standard Minimum Requirements for the Design and Equipment of Breakdown Assistance Vehicles’ have been updated. In doing so, the scope of equipment has been aligned with the type of broken down vehicle (car, truck), and the storage space available in the breakdown assistance vehicle has also been taken into account. In addition, the items of equipment are now listed in tabular form.

9. The purpose of the amended Standard is to update the equipment required in breakdown assistance vehicles so as to reflect current circumstances.
