5. Amendment of the Directive on the Testing of Headlights Adjustment Test Equipment
(BMVI/StV 22/7341.1/40-00 of 11.8.2020, Traffic Bulletin 2021, Issue 17, No. 136, p. 551)

6. This Directive shall apply to the testing of This guideline applies to the testing of headlight adjustment test equipment used in the
testing or adjustment of motor vehicle headlights.

8. The purpose of the subsequent amendment of the Directive is to ensure that the headlights adjusting devices have state-of-the-art type approval and that only such devices are used.

9. Following the publication of the Directive on the testing of headlights adjustment test equipment, the latest technical developments (manual or automatic levelling devices in the longitudinal and transverse directions) make it necessary to adapt the necessary test requirements and to adapt the type approval procedure of the Directive. The Directive on the Testing of Headlights Adjustment Testing Equipment (BMVI/StV 22/7341.1/40-00, 11.8.2020, Traffic Bulletin 2021, Issue 17, No 136, p. 551) is hereby amended.
