8. The amendment to the Ordinance (2024:21) amending the Ordinance (2020:750) on State aid for certain environmental vehicles aims to ensure that the correct wording of the provisions starts to apply from 1 October 2025.

9. The purpose of the provisions is to allow beneficiaries to apply for aid also for the costs of leasing a zero-emission heavy-duty truck, environmental truck or gas-powered truck. In addition, aid may also be paid to those leasing the vehicles, and SMEs should be able to benefit from the higher aid intensities allowed by the Ordinance.
