8. The technical regulation for the radio interface contains requirements for devices intended for radio determination applications.

It outlines how radio spectrum is used in Romania and specifies the parameters required for devices intended for radio determination applications in Romania, as well as the authorisation regime.

9. The technical specification for the RO-IR SRD-05 radio interface shall be updated with 5 new frequency bands (4 harmonised and one non-harmonised) for closed nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) applications.

Update in accordance with Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/180 of 8 February 2022 amending Decision 2006/771/EC as regards the update of harmonised technical conditions in the area of radio spectrum use for short-range devices (9-148 kHz, 148-5,000 kHz, 5-30 MHz i 30-130 MHz) and ERC Recommendation 70-03 (version of 7 June 2024) on the use of proximity (short-range) radio devices (ERC/REC 70-03) (100 Hz – 9 kHz).
