5. Draft amending Decree No 2/2016 of the Ministry for National Economy of 5 January 2016 on the official technical and safety supervision of pressure equipment, filling equipment, small capacity compressed gas filling equipment, and the periodic inspection of automotive gas tanks

This draft decree, which amends Decree No 2/2016 of the Ministry for National Economy of 5 January 2016 on the official technical and safety supervision of pressure equipment, filling equipment, small capacity compressed gas filling equipment, and the periodic inspection of automotive gas tanks, lays down the safety technical conditions for filling gas cylinders for motor caravans at autogas refuelling stations.

9. Transportable pressure equipment belonging to a motor caravan may be filled through an LPG filling device operating at an autogas refuelling station if all of the following conditions are jointly met:

(a) the transportable pressure equipment is fitted with a fitting to prevent the overfilling of the equipment,
(b) the transportable pressure equipment is equipped with a safety blow-off valve,
(c) the transportable pressure equipment has the conformity marking specified in Annex 2 to Decree No 29/2011 of the Ministry for National Economy of 3 August 2011 on the safety requirements and conformity certification of transportable pressure equipment,
(d) the equivalence of the transportable pressure equipment with the pressure equipment installed in the motor caravan has been demonstrated for safe transport and use on the motor caravan,
(e) there is no visible damage to the transportable pressure equipment,
(f) the period of validity of the pressure test for the transportable pressure equipment has not expired at the time of filling, and
(g) the filling valve fitted to the transportable pressure equipment is suitable for the connection of the filling nozzle.

The proposed regulation does not apply to gas cylinders and gas tanks installed in motor caravans.
