This test guideline for coating materials for steel hydraulic engineering regulates the performance testing of the aforementioned products for use in the Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration. The main contents are identity testing, corrosion resistance tests (basic test) and suitability tests. The methods used are described and limit values for passing the test are given.

9. In line with technical developments (amended standards and regulations), the notified 2011 edition of ZTV-W LB 214 needed to be revised.
