8. Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Regulation Bodyworks and securing a load
(TRAFICOM/149639/03.04.03.00/2019) entered into force on 1 April 2021.

The current regulation provides provisions on vehicle bodywork, load securing equipment, and more detailed requirements for securing a load.

The goal of the project is to clarify the scope of application of the regulations
concerning vehicle approval and use.
In order to demonstrate compliance of load securing points, an alternative based on the ISO standard would be added alongside the EN standard, and the rules concerning load securing would be supplemented with friction coefficients for paper and pulp loads.
In addition, the existing regulation needs to be updated due to changes in the legislative framework since its adoption.

The notification number of the current Regulation is 2020/0098/FIN.
