Requirements for construction materials, construction material mixtures and installation mixtures for base courses with hydraulic binders and concrete which are produced from these construction materials and used in the production of surfacing courses in the construction of roads, walkways and other traffic areas.
The European standards DIN EN 13877 ‘Concrete pavements’ – Part 1: Materials
Part 2: Functional requirements for concrete pavements and Part 3: Specifications for dowels to be used in concrete pavements as well as DIN EN 14227 ‘Hydraulically bound mixtures – Specifications’ – Part 1: Cement bound granular mixtures and Part 5: Hydraulic road binder – bound granular mixtures are implemented nationally by these Technical Delivery Terms.

9. TL Beton-StB 25 replace the TL Beton-StB 2007 edition. Due to increased damage caused by alkali-silica reaction in the early 2000s, short-term instructions were required to prevent this. After many years of positive practical experience, these methods have now been incorporated into the regulations in the revision of TL Beton-StB 25. In the course of the revision, findings gained from practical experience and research projects on increasing the durability of concrete traffic surfaces and the use of various cements to reduce CO2 were also added to the regulations.
