8. The document deals with guidelines for the design, construction and maintenance of noise protection structures to be installed on or in the immediate vicinity of road and rail infrastructure. It gives the mechanical requirements for construction elements, the requirements for demonstrating their stability, the methods for their installation, the controls during construction and the method of inspection and maintenance of structures.
9. The technical guideline provides professional foundations for the design, implementation and maintenance of noise protection structures on public traffic areas.
