5. Order amending Order No DIE-202 of the Director of the Gaming Control Authority under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania of 22 May 2025 on the Approval of the Requirements for Remote Gambling Platforms

6. The requirements for remote gambling platforms shall apply to companies holding licences and authorisations for the organisation of games of chance granting the right to conduct gaming activities in the Republic of Lithuania.

8. The draft changes the method of transferring data from remote gambling platforms of companies organising gambling to the Gaming Machine Control Information System, stipulating that data shall be provided via the secure SSH File Transfer Protocol (sftp).
The requirements for remote gambling platforms shall apply to companies holding licences and authorisations for the organisation of games of chance granting the right to conduct gaming activities in the Republic of Lithuania.

9. The draft amendment on the requirements for remote gambling platforms has been prepared in order to change the method of transferring data from remote gambling platforms of companies organising gambling to the Gaming Machine Control Information System.
This data transfer is determined based on the volume of data transferred and the fact that the Gaming Control Authority will perform its functions related to the processing, storage and analysis of data received in the Gaming Machine Control Information System within the State Data Management Platform environment managed by the State Data Agency
