5. Draft Decision on the provision of video-sharing platform services

6. Provisions applicable to video sharing platform services

8. The draft Decision on the provision of video-sharing platform services establishes the procedure for granting, amending and withdrawing authorisation to provide video-sharing platform services.

9. Based on the amendments and additions made to Audiovisual Law No. 504/2002 by Law No. 190/2022, which transposes the provisions of Directive (EU) 2018/1808 amending Directive 2010/13/EU (Audiovisual Media Services Directive), the scope of application is extended to video-sharing platforms and, thus, the draft Decision will establish:
— the criteria for the notification of video-sharing platform services;
— the conditions for notification of video-sharing platform services;
— the procedure for the provision of video-sharing platform services;
— amendment of the notice for the provision of video-sharing platform services;
— withdrawal of the authorisation to provide video-sharing platform services;
— the mechanisms for assessing the suitability of the measures implementing the protection of minors and the general public and compliance with the provisions concerning audiovisual commercial communications.
