8. Additions and amendments to the preliminary remarks, Sections A1 to A6, B2 to B4, C2 to C4 and the associated Annexes to the Model Administrative Rules, as well as amendments to Section D2 and Annexes 1 to 4, 7, 8, 10 to 12 and 14 thereof, compared with the 2017/1 version.
Newly published European and national standards and regulations are being incorporated in order to comply with the latest technology. Provisions on technical building equipment, for example, have been systematically combined in Annex 14; the formerly corresponding provisions in Section A2 and Annex 4 are now deleted.
Please refer to Section C1 for more information on the equivalence clause.

9. Update of the Model Administrative Rules, taking into account recent findings and new technical rules

The Notification is made on behalf of the 16 states of the Federal Republic of Germany.
