This Law establishes measures to protect the environment and human health by preventing or reducing the production of waste and the harmful effects of the production and management of waste, and by reducing the overall impact of the use of resources and improving the efficiency of this use, which is all essential for the transition to a circular economy and for long-term competitiveness.
