8. The regulatory texts subjecting the eligibility of new electric passenger cars for the ecological bonus, for leasing and for the conversion premium to the achievement of a minimum environmental score entered into force respectively on 8 October 2023, 1 January 2024 and 8 February 2024.
Going forward, for new orders, only the versions of new electric passenger cars that appear on the list published by the Interministerial Order of 14 December 2023, reflecting their achievement of the minimum environmental score, may benefit from the above-mentioned aids subject to compliance with the other eligibility criteria for these aids.
This list, laid down by an Interministerial Order, must be updated monthly, by an Amending Order, so that new versions of electric passenger cars which have achieved the minimum environmental score since the publication of the last Order may be added.
To this end, a first Amending Order was published in the Official Journal on 7 February 2024. The draft second Amending Order attached adds 26 new models of electric passenger cars to the 456 models already contained in the amended Order of 14 December 2023.

9. The Amending Order updates the list of models that have achieved the minimum environmental score set by the amended Order of 14 December 2023. It effectively adds 26 new models of electric passenger cars that have achieved the minimum environmental score threshold for eligibility for certain aids for the purchase or rental of low-emissions vehicles to the 436 versions already contained in the amended Order of 14 December 2023.
