5. Rules for the design and installation of outdoor fire water supply networks and structures (hereinafter referred to as the draft Order)

6. The draft Order proposes to establish fire safety requirements for outdoor fire water supply networks and structures where outdoor fire water supply is to be designed and installed.

The draft Order shall be prepared taking into account the fact that certain provisions of the Rules for the Design and Installation of Outdoor Fire Water Supply Networks and Structures approved by Order No 1-66 of 22 February 2007 of the Director of the Fire Protection and Rescue Department under the Ministry of the Interior approving normative construction safety documents are no longer relevant for the assessment that technologically advanced design and installation solutions have emerged in the construction sector, also taking into account the enquiries of incoming persons concerning the interpretation of certain clauses and the standardisation practice in foreign countries. The draft Order proposes the adoption of new rules for the design and installation of outdoor fire water supply networks and structures. The aim of the draft Order is to improve the provisions of the rules for the design and installation of outdoor fire water supply networks and structures related to the procedure for testing outdoor fire water supply, the solutions for the design and installation of outdoor fire water supply, and to improve the clarity of the regulations.
