The existing Regulation on Modifying a tractor’s propulsion system (TRAFICOM/285315/03.04.03.00/2022), which entered into force on 1 September 2023, would be amended by adding a new chapter 9, which lays down more precise provisions on the technical requirements for the modification of tyres and rims of category T1, T2, T3, C1, C2 or C3 vehicles and the demonstration of conformity in a registration or modification inspection. The notification number of the current Regulation is 2023/142/FIN.

9. The power to issue Regulations is based on sections 7a, 16, 139, 143 and 144 of the Vehicles Act (82/2021) and section 221 of the Transport Services Act (320/2017).
