The agreement regulates the conditions that apply to a provider whose application for connection to the authorisation system has been approved by the Swedish Agency for Digital Government and who wishes to connect to the authorisation system for digital mail services. The agreement regulates the respective commitments of the provider and the providing authority. The conditions for the provider to receive remuneration for the service are also regulated.

The provider shall, among other things, undertake to be connected to the public authority-wide digital mail infrastructure. The regulatory framework is attached as a basis in the matter of notification of the Swedish Agency for Digital Government's regulations on requirements for providers' applications for connection to the authorisation system for electronic identification and digital mail.

9. The purpose of the agreement is to regulate, under civil law, the relationship between the provider and the Swedish Agency for Digital Government as the providing authority of the authorisation system for digital mail.
