5. Imposition of supervisory fees under the Gaming Act

8. The proposal would provide for more detailed implementation of the supervisory fees under the Gambling Act (xx/2025). The regulation concerns exclusive right, gambling, and gambling software license holders. The proposal would lay down the payment procedure, the payment of the fee and the means and time limits for providing the necessary information.

The supervisory fees would be based on the amount of the gross gambling revenue. A special procedure would be established for the payment for the first year of operation.

The Regulation would enter into force on 1 January 2027.

9. With the reform of the gambling system, it is necessary to issue a detailed regulatory order on the imposition, payment, and reporting procedures of supervisory fees. The Regulation ensures that the supervisory authority’s costs are covered transparently and predictably. Additionally, the Regulation strengthens legal protection and the consistency of administrative actions in the regulation of the gambling market.
