— Notification of registration of operator and registration or approval of an establishment;
— Collection, transport, storage, labelling and placing on the market;
— Requirements for authorised holdings;
— Use of bio-fertilisers and soil improvers;
— Use of animal by-products for feeding animals;
— Burial or other disposal;
— Use for research, diagnosis and education and for artistic purposes;
— Introduction;
—Fees for case processing and record keeping.

9. The purpose of the Draft Regulations is to ensure that animal by-products do not spread diseases.

The Draft Regulations contain a mutual recognition clause.
