25th Amendment

6. Subsidies for the construction and renovation of large and small residential buildings - Building materials
of all types.

8. The 25th amendment to the Lower Austrian Housing Subsidy Guidelines 2019 covers the subsidisation of the construction and renovation of large and small residential buildings. Eligibility conditions include key performance indicators relating to energy efficiency and ecological building materials, as well as social criteria. Furthermore, financing for housing construction sector is being converted to exclusively subsidies for bank loans.

9. With 25th amendment to the Lower Austrian Housing Subsidy Guidelines 2019, the energy efficiency criteria was adapted to the requirements of building law, which is based on the EU Energy Performance of Buildings Directive.
