5. Specimen Firing Installations Order (MFeuV) as at September 2007, amended by decision of the Expert Committee on Construction Supervision of 28.1.2016

6. Furnaces, heat pumps and combined heat and power plants, waste gas systems in respect of their operational and fireproof use

8. The Specimen Order contains regulations on the installation of furnaces, heat pumps, combined heat and power plants, stationary combustion engines and gas fittings. It also contains regulations for boiler rooms, waste gas systems and the storage of fuels.

9. The purpose of the Specimen Firing Installations Order is to standardise state requirements and in particular to ensure the safe operational and fireproof use of construction products.
In addition to technical clarifications, this amendment takes account of the revised provisions of § 3 on combustion air supply, which became necessary due to the increased density of new builds and energy efficiency retrofits and new provisions in §§ 11 and 12 on the storage of wood pellets.
It also takes into account new developments in European standardisation.
