By Order of the Minister of Health No 275 of 26 March 2012, the Sanitary Regulatory Procedure for placing on the market the products, materials, chemicals/mixtures and equipment used in contact with drinking water was approved, whereby the Commission for products, materials, chemicals/mixtures and equipment used in contact with drinking water within the National Institute of Public Health issues the Sanitary Notice/Notification for products, materials, chemicals/mixtures and equipment used in contact with drinking water.
9. Since the entry into force of Order No 275/2012, the evaluators have faced a number of situations in the evaluation work for placing on the market of products, materials, chemicals/mixtures and equipment used in contact with drinking water, which is why several changes have been proposed in the current procedure, namely:
- establishing, in addition to the old terms, new terms defining the evaluation activity for placing on the market the products, materials, chemicals/mixtures and equipment used in contact with drinking water;
- electronic submission, through the “Unique Electronic Contact Point” Platform; - establishing the composition of the evaluation committee and the persons who sign the Sanitary Opinions/Notifications;
- establishing the necessary differentiated documents for obtaining the Sanitary Opinion/Notification;
- updating (after re-evaluation of the dossiers) and posting on the website of the National Institute of Public Health the heading with the Lists on the Health Advice/Notifications
- amending and supplementing Annexes 1, 2, 3, 4 and introduction of Annex 5.
