8. The Sixth State Reform regionalised the regulations on the placement and technical requirements of road signs, with the exception of the signage relating to customs zones, level crossings and crossings in railways and military tracks.
The legislation concerned consists of the regulation of the signage of construction sites, containers and obstacles placed on public roads which must comply with certain technical requirements. Amendments are made, inter alia, to Articles 6, 10, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 28 of the draft submitted, as well as in the annexes to the text.
9. The draft Order aims to clarify and correct certain provisions of the Order of the Walloon Government of 16 December 2020 on the signage of construction sites and obstacles on public roads.
The amendments consist of referring to the most recently published standards for technical requirements, clarifying the scope of certain provisions, avoiding the costs of certain equipment adaptations, and correcting shells in the illustrations in the annexes to the Order of 16 December 2020.
