5. The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency’s draft Radio Frequency Regulation 4 AF/2025M and associated Radio Frequency Plan (Frequency Allocation Table) for radio frequencies between 100 Hz and 400 GHz, which also includes radio interface specifications.

6. Frequencies from equipment groups such as aeronautical and maritime radio transmitters, mobile networks, telecommand equipment, amateur radio equipment, radio links, satellite earth stations, closed network equipment (PMR and UWB equipment and radio and TV transmitters)

8. The draft Radio Frequency Regulation 4 AF/2025M and associated Radio Frequency Plan
contain mainly specifications related to the planning and control of the efficient use of radio frequencies that were not included in the previously notified type-examination requirements and
that have been largely replaced by harmonised standards. It therefore also includes
radio interface specifications.

Regulation 4 AF/2025M and the Radio Frequency Plan, which will be confirmed in due course, will be published on the website of the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom. The Radio Frequency Plan is maintained in a database that is updated approximately once a year.
The Frequency Plan includes a list of changes made to the
version that was last notified. In addition to the Frequency Allocation Table, the notification document
includes appendices explaining the terms used in the table,
UWB radio interfaces that are difficult to fit in the format of the Table, inductive devices and references to standards (the references to standards are for information only).

9. The purpose of draft Radio Frequency Regulation 4 AF/2025M and the Radio Frequency Plan is to
ensure the efficient use of the radio frequency spectrum. The Radio Frequency Plan
is published in order to provide equipment manufacturers and users with information
on the use of radio frequencies and on interference protection provided to radio networks through frequency planning. Manufacturers need this information not only for designing equipment
but also to provide users with the information pursuant to Article 10 of the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU
on instructions for use.
