8. The basis for assessment has been amended as follows:
- Zirconium oxide coatings have been added under 6.3.
- The maximum barium content in the positive list (Table 5) for hard ferrite ceramics has been increased to 16 %.

9. The basis for assessment for enamel and ceramic materials in contact with drinking water was last notified under 2024/0189/D, 3rd amendment of the enamel/ceramic evaluation basis.
In the meantime, further applications have been approved positively and further materials have been assessed as suitable for drinking water hygiene and the positive lists must be extended accordingly.
