5. Decree on consumer information relating to software updates for goods with digital elements

The Decree determines the list and content of information relating to software updates in line with the normal use of goods with digital elements, as well as the manner in which such information is communicated by the manufacturer to the seller and then passed on by the latter to the consumer. It states that in the event that the contract provides for the supply of digital content or a digital service for a period exceeding two years, the seller shall ensure that the consumer receives the updates for the entire period provided for in the contract.

9. This is the Implementing Decree for Article 27 of Law No 2020-105 of 10 February 2020 on the fight against waste and the circular economy.
