6. Products used for the construction and renovation of drinking water supply systems.

8. The basis for assessment has been amended as follows:
- The test modality for enamel and other glass-like materials is changed
- The positive list (Table 1) for enamel and other glass-like materials is changed.
- The positive list (Table 5) for hard ferrite ceramics is changed.
- Organic sulfur compound is added as a supplement to the positive list of possible ingredients of enamel and glass.

9. The basis for assessment for enamel and ceramic materials in contact with drinking water was last notified under 2023/0225/D, 2nd amendment of the enamel/ceramic evaluation basis.
In the meantime, further applications have been approved positively and further materials have been assessed as suitable for drinking water hygiene and the positive lists must be extended accordingly.
