The types of vehicles concerned correspond to those referred to in Regulation No 2018/858 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2018 on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.

8. Lorries (N2, N3), tractors, trailers (O3, O4) and tractor trailers, etc.
The types of vehicles concerned correspond to those referred to in Regulation No 2018/858 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2018 on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles and Regulation No 167/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 5 February 2013 on the approval and market surveillance of agricultural and forestry vehicles.
The Order lays down the rules applicable to vans, lorries and tractor vehicle combinations in the course of graduation drives, parades and drives during special events or events held annually.
The Order also provides for the carriage of persons on the carrying platform of vans, lorries or tractor vehicle combinations during graduation drives, parades and drives during special events or events held annually.
9. The Danish Road Traffic Authority has drawn up a draft new Order on graduation drives, parades, etc., with a view to merging Order No 1401 of 30 November 2023 on graduation drives, parades, etc., and Order No 375 of 18 May 2004 on the fitting-out and equipment of vehicles used for student drives, parades, etc.
The technical requirements for vehicles have been revised, as the Danish Road Traffic Authority has assessed that there is a need to tighten up the technical requirements for vehicles in order to improve safety. The technical modifications to the vehicles are as follows:
• the tailgate must be fitted with at least two protective devices;
• lateral shielding shall be provided if seating positions are located in the centre of the carrying platform;
• the design of the vehicles must be carried out in accordance with professional design standards;
• the height of the centre of gravity of tractor trailers shall not exceed 90 per cent of the track gauge;
• In the case of embarkation and disembarkation of persons with reduced mobility, it has now been added that hydraulic lifts, in addition to loading tailgates, can be used.
Furthermore, the following has been added:
• requirements for valid category B/E driving licences for driving with tractor vehicle combinations
• requirements for the maximum number of passengers to be included in the roadworthiness certificate
• requirements for testing centres to provide photographic documents if the vehicle is fitted with a swap body
• companies may be held liable under the provisions of Chapter 5 of the Criminal Code;
• graduation drives must take place immediately after the completion of the education;
