Permitted fuels for intended use in combustion systems and combined heat and power systems.
9. This draft is an implementing regulation pertaining to the 2013 Tyrol Gas, Heating and Climate Control Systems Act, Provincial Law Gazette No 111/2013. It specifies the technical requirements laid down in this Act for heating systems, systems for the storage and management of fuels, combined heat and power systems and climate control systems under the considerations mentioned in point 8.
There are two objectives:
Firstly, a socially viable withdrawal from solid and liquid fossil fuels should be ensured in new buildings and trough major renovations on central heating systems with a view to implementing the goals of the Paris Climate Protection Agreement to reduce greenhouse gases.
Secondly, emission regulations designed to protect neighbours from unacceptable noise pollution are to be revised and standardised, given that heat pumps are of great importance for the promotion of renewable energies, both for economic and climate protection reasons.
