8. The Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning is proposing new regulations on requirements for plots of land, etc.

9. The draft regulations specify in more detail the requirements laid down in Chapter 8, Section 9 of the Planning and Building Act (2010:900) (PBL) for undeveloped plots of land that are to be developed, as regards accessibility and usability for persons with reduced mobility and orientation capabilities, ease of access for emergency vehicles and accident prevention. The draft regulations also specify in more detail the requirements laid down in Chapter 3, Section 10 of the Planning and Building Ordinance (2011:338) (PBF) concerning safety in use for the construction of certain facilities other than buildings on plots of land and the requirements for design, execution and control laid down in Chapter 10, Section 5 of the PBL as regards these facilities.
